Admission Seminar

Our school is a private English primary school located in Yuen Long under the name of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong. Formally inaugurated on 1st September, 2016, the school consists of three classes per grade from Primary 1 to Primary 6, totaling 18 classes with approximately 25 students each. We employ activity-based, small-class teaching methods incorporating cooperative learning and interdisciplinary thematic approaches. This framework aims to develop students' inquiry and extended learning abilities while fostering higher-order cognitive skills, critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and biliteracy and trilingual.

The English environment at our school is rich and dynamic; the English curriculum uses diverse, engaging, and inspiring textbooks. For Primary 1 to Primary 3, we adopt the Oxford RWI English programme, which integrates Synthetic Phonics with the Storybook Reading method to enhance students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Additionally, we provide two English writing sessions for Primary 4 to Primary 6 to strengthen students' writing techniques. Starting from Primary 1, subjects such as Drama, Mathematics, General Knowledge, STEM, Computing, Music, and Visual Arts are delivered entirely in English, whereas all Chinese classes are conducted in Mandarin.
